About
My highest aim is to help people learn to close their ears to the shrill voice of society – constantly telling them how to act, what to achieve, and how to feel – and listen to themselves instead.
Beyond Fortune-Telling
Like most people, I used to associate Tarot with fortune-telling and dismissed it for years as silly and superstitious.
I had my first Tarot reading at a Halloween party and it wasn’t exactly an enlightening experience. I took this as a confirmation of my original view.
Nonetheless, about a year later, I found myself drawn back to it. I had picked up a book about how Tarot could be used as a tool for internal exploration. Using the imagination, the intuition, and knowledge of 78 extraordinarily expressive images, one could find a way to look at things with completely fresh eyes.
Finally, the penny dropped. Tarot was primarily a tool for self-development, paving the way to better decisions and intentional living. I was enchanted. I barely looked up from the cards for three years.
Later, I became a professional Tarot Reader, but I continue to read for myself regularly. It has helped me to become a more creative, compassionate, and peaceful person. It is my goal to help as many others as possible in the same way.
The Secret of Fulfillment
Finding my calling was not an easy path for me.
I have always thought of myself as a wanderer, in the inner sense. In my early years I drifted from vocation to vocation as I tried to settle upon something which would fulfil my desire to express myself creatively and also give back to the world. Nothing ever seemed to fit.
I started off with musical dreams, passionately pursuing a career as a singer/songwriter. You could have not persuaded me that I was meant for anything else.
When this didn’t work out, I found myself lost in a world of mundane office work. I tried copywriting and advertising. I trained as a Life Coach. I became an Executive Assistant. I wrote poetry, edited short stories, and worked as a cat-sitter.
I nearly always felt that I was lagging behind where I should be, that everyone else had something I was missing, that there was some secret that I had to find out. And once I had it, everything would (of course) fall into place.
When I became tired of searching for this secret, I packed it all in and let my mind go quiet for a while. And at the age of 30 I realised what I know to be even truer today.
The secret is: there is no secret. There is simply slow and devoted work to this relationship we have with the self.
That was when I realised that my purpose in life was the search itself. And this search, by definition, would never be over.
At the same time, the ultimate tool for self-search revealed itself to me: the Tarot.
“Having never experienced a Tarot reading before, I approached our session with an open heart, and Rachel did not disappoint. Her deep knowledge of Tarot and its rich history is evident in her readings, and she delivers insights with a clarity and love for the craft that is truly special. My first experience with her was enlightening, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking meaningful insights.”

Tune Into Your True Desire
Like all forms of art, the Tarot tells a story. It also reveals the stories you are telling yourself.
It’s as if each card has a soul. It can ‘see’ and interact with you. When you feel seen by an image in this way, you feel compelled to communicate with it - even if it is just to disagree with it.
This is why it doesn’t matter whether you believe a higher power is pulling the right cards for you or that it is totally random. The only thing that matters is the personal relationship which automatically springs up between you and the images. This relationship will tell us something true about where you are in your life right now.
As the Tarot Reader, it is my job to interpret these subtle messages, based on a mixture of what I intuit from the images and the nuances of your reactions.
My experience has taught me that that there are rarely wrong or right choices. Instead, there are multiple paths that each carry their own unique benefits and problems. Whichever path you choose, you will find pain and joy.
The Tarot can help you to make those decisions consciously, from the position of knowing yourself and what you truly desire.
There is no greater power than this.
“I was initially sceptical of Tarot, but decided to have a reading for fun and curiosity. As Rachel did the reading, I began to realise that it doesn't matter whether or not you believe in the ‘magic’ of Tarot. The real magic comes from taking the time to reflect upon your life in a safe, supportive space. Rachel facilitates this beautifully. She is empathetic, insightful and gently encourages you to consider your own life choices. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

Working with the Tarot takes courage and commitment. It is not easy work, but it is clarifying.
